The Jordan Super.Fly 2 packs three major technologies into one very slick package.
First up, you’ve got the Flight Plate, which is a relatively new innovation. (The Jordan Super.Fly 2 is only the third Jordan to incorporate this technology.) Basically, the Flight Plate supercharges the power of Nike’s already ubiquitous Zoom units. Designed for basketball in 1995 but spread throughout the Nike lines, the Zoom Air’s springlike cushioning enables quicker response time. The new Flight Plate sits beneath the Zoom Unit and enhances its responsiveness and redirects the energy the player exerts, propelling you with explosive lift-off.
Secondly, the Jordan Super.Fly 2 incorporates Dynamic Fit technology. First designed for Nike running shoes, Dynamic Fit technology utilizes textile straps built in from the mid-sole to laces to provide lightweight support while keeping your feet secure.
Last up, the Jordan Super.Fly 2 boasts Hyperfuse. Hyperfuse construction of the uppers provides cooling ventilation in a lightweight delivery.
Created for ultimate responsiveness and lift, the Jordan Super.Fly 2 basketball shoes launched August 1. Catch them in a series of ads and promos by NBA All-Star Blake Griffin who wear-tested them in early 2013.
